London

London was a rollercoaster. Jumping from being student to freelancing in such a huge city without knowing anything about it. A total of 5 years I spent running across the streets, working in different locations on a weekly basis: a videoclip in Covent Garden, a film shooting in Marylebone -starting at 1am-, editing marketing videos in Farringdon and different offices, photo shooting in Camden, Greenwich, Central London or a weekend trip to Wales for another 3 day shooting. Resting days? At home editing some smaller projects like short films or promotional videos.

It was stressful, unfairly paid and not always in the best conditions but I also learnt a lot at the same time I gathered experience. My inexperience was balanced with a strong resilience to keep going, and also with very low wages. After 2-3 years I started to have some more balance, but these pictures were from that first stages. Some of the projects I worked on remains visible in this hidden page

This small imaginary was capture between 2017-2018. it all looks like a different life now.

Shout out to Misato Restaurant, at the entrance of Chinatown (sadly closed now) for support my freelance work during all those years every time I have to go through Central London.

It was a super tiny place, no decoration on the walls, no much inside apart of a bunch of tables with almost no space in between but they made such a delicious and authentic Japanese dishes, incredible cheap, at least until it become popular. No social media accounts, no marketing of any sort, they where... just there.

The owner left the restaurant after a few years and then everything changed, they tried different approaches until its closure this year. (2026)

I always liked to walk through Canary Wharf at night, after everyone left the offices, it really becomes a quiet and desert place.

This remembers me a puzzle…

I used to live in front of Crystal Palace.
If you have the chance, please visit Crystal Palace Park and learn about these dinosaurs from 1852!
