Barcelona ‘22

Being from Spain doesn’t mean I have visited the whole country. I’ve met people from everywhere that visited Spain and saw way more places that I’ve ever been. I understand that feeling, because I did the same in other places. They usually ask questions about those places as if I should know all about them. I hope one day I can answer those questions, I will like keep visiting my own country and know more about the places I’d never visited, specially the north. There really are so many beautiful places in every corner.

During those years I was learning Japanese again, and I wanted to print the exact time where the photo was taken and also use that information as a visual part or aesthetic, somehow. I did some previous tests where this information where on the picture instead of below, that was probably better, as the black frames shouldn’t be “in” the picture file and they’re just aesthetics too. I wanted to add the date too, but that was too much (although I added it in another collection)
Furthermore, as a filmmaker I love the wide 2:35 format and playing with warm colors, as I perceive life.

And that’s why these photos looks like that. I don’t want to re-edit or re-crop them, this is just a mark of what my process was at the time.

I really miss high quality vegetables (and fruit, and meat)

I was fascinated by this structure at Park Güell, I took so many pictures from different angles, it is an incredible space

The Central roof from the picture on the left.

Cannonballs.
